Get To Know Me!
I am a self-taught pour artist and art therapist. I grew up in the Midwest and graduated college with an emphasis in graphic design. After a career change years later, I started pour painting in 2018 when my Master’s program challenged me to do something new with art. It was instant love! I started displaying my artwork at some local art shows and things started to take off from there.
I am always pushing my artwork to try new things. Explore my site to see when/where I’ll be at art shows, links to my social media, how to purchase my art and request commissions.

Acrylic Pour Painting
As a pour painter, I want to share that pouring is not simply placing paint on a canvas and hoping for a good outcome. There is intentional planning, skill, technique, and a deep relationship between myself, the paint, the tools, and the canvas at every step of the process.
It begins with thoughtful color selection and precise mixing of paints to the correct consistency—balancing oils, paint, and additives—to create the right fluidity. Then, I carefully select tools such as torches, blowers, and palette knives to guide and manipulate the paint, intentionally moving it to achieve the desired flow, movement, and form.
Choosing the canvas size and thickness is a deliberate decision, ensuring that the composition complements the surface area. A successful pour requires skillful management of the amount of paint used—too much or too little can affect the formation of cells, lacing, and the clarity of the design.
A critical part of the technique is knowing when to stop manipulating the paint; overworking the surface can lead to muddying, loss of definition, and diminished contrast. Finally, environmental control is essential: the temperature and humidity of the drying space must be carefully managed to prevent cracking or other issues that can either enhance or destroy the final piece.
Each painting is the result of a series of intentional, technical decisions layered with artistic instinct. My goal is always to push beyond the initial pour—to shape the abstract forms into cohesive, expressive compositions that feel alive and balanced.
Art Available for Purchase
I’m often asked if my art is for sale, and the answer is absolutely yes! You can find all my available pieces here on my site, which I update every month with new creations. If you’re looking for something more personalized, you can Contact me on my website to collaborate on a custom piece.
Another common question I get is whether I ship, and the answer is also yes! However, currently only within the US.
For commissions, the process is straightforward. You’ll share details like the size, style, and color palette you’re looking for, and I’ll provide pricing based on those specifications. My pricing is intentionally affordable because I believe original art should be accessible to everyone. If something catches your eye, don’t hesitate to get in touch!
A quick note: I work on commissions in the order they’re received, so there’s currently a waiting list. Once I begin, the process typically takes about a month to complete. We’ll discuss all the details upfront, and I’ll keep you involved every step of the way.
Every artwork is ready to hang, with hardware included, and signed on the back (along with its title, if it has one). Each piece is securely packaged for shipment through UPS or USPS. Packages are fully insured for your peace of mind.
